TEXAS HOLD'EM FEVER Before Chris Moneymaker won the World Series of Poker in 2003 he was virtually an unknown player. Now that such a random person has won the World Series of Poker, Poker Fever has taken the world into a craze. The amount of people playing in this tournament tripled from 839 in 2003 to a whopping 2,576 in 2004. Retail sales of poker chips and other accessories have skyrocketed. Another industry that is benefiting from the hype of Poker is the casino rental business. Casino rentals allow an individual to play Texas Holdem without having to spend 10,000 for the entry. Instead the average rental of a table and dealer is anywhere between $125-$300 for 3-4 hours.
Renting these tables allows one to play with their friends and family for fun and amusement just as if it were for real money. Not only can Poker be used for fun but to help generate money for fundraisers, players can pay for the chips (which have no cash value) and play for prizes. Then all of the money collected for the chips goes to the organization that is holding the fundraiser.
D&E Casino Services can help you with all of your Poker rental needs and even if your not looking for poker we have a variety of other casino games for your guests to enjoy: Craps, blackjack, Roulette, Poker, 3 card poker, baccarat, Wheel of Fortune, Let it Ride, and Pai Gow . We have been providing casino entertainment for fifteen years and can help you with any casino event you may be planning.
