Tornei di poker
I tornei di poker sono competizioni strutturate dove i giocatori di poker giocano contro ogni altro giocatore per accumulare tutti i gettoni in palio. Nei giochi dal vivo al casino, ogni mano è scollegata dalle altre. I giocatori possono lasciare quando vogliono. Nei tornei, i giocatori non possono lasciare e incassare i loro soldi. Il gioco continua finchè non c'è un vincitore.
Ci sono diversi tipi di tornei di poker: tavolo singolo, multi tavolo, Sit and go, pianificato, Freeroll, Satellite, rebuy e freezeout.
Sebbene all'inizio dei tornei di poker ci si affidi maggiormente alla fortuna, come in tutte le forme di poker alla fine l'abilità riveste un ruolo principale per il successo a lungo termine.
